Ferrovial Agroman takes part in ‘Stop. Make A Change’

Category: General / 20 April 2018

The national campaign will see several of our projects organise a number of activities targeting improvements in health and wellbeing, as well as plant safety.

Between 16 and 27 April, companies from across the UK construction sector are taking part in a joint national initiative targeting improvements in health, safety and wellbeing for the sector. This is the Stop. Make a Change initiative. It will see sites and offices stop work to allow staff to take time to discuss some of the challenges we face as a sector. Discussions focus on two key issues -mental health and wellbeing, and plant safety.

As a responsible company which cares about making beneficial changes in relation to each of these issues, Ferrovial Agroman UK has committed to continuing to work closely with Mates in Mind and Building Mental Health to develop volunteer employees in Mental Health First Aid. In addition, we will continue to work with CECA to improve plant and workforce interfaces. To explain these commitments to the workforce, as well as to start discussions regarding raising awareness and improving our health, wellbeing and safety, our construction projects across the country are joining the campaign.

Placing great importance on health, safety and wellbeing is one of Ferrovial Agroman's strongest commitments, and the Stop. Make a Change campaign is a great opportunity to push this even further.
